On-site and Blended Professional Development Options

Member schools receive priority consideration for teacher training seminars and professional teacher development with ACSI personnel. We recommend a blended learning(1) environment or coordination with other schools in your area to increase the sustainability and impact of training sessions. ACSI consultants will prioritize their availability for schools that work together for a regional professional development activity.

Teacher in-service training for specific needs can also be made available to your school upon request. Our list of professional development topics include:

  • Biblical Integration Strategies
  • Mentoring programs and methods
  • Discipline and classroom management
  • Distinctives of Christian school education
  • Curriculum development
  • Collaborative teaching and learning
  • Assessment strategies for learning
  • Developing a Student Leadership program
  • Quality teacher supervision and teacher coaching
  • Effective teaching methods for the 21st Century student
  • How to formulate and implement a Christian philosophy of education
  • Christian school management
  • Board relations, policies and responsibilities

Please contact us by phone or E-mail to request a consultation to discuss your teacher training needs.
