Speaker:

Laurens SnoekLaurens Snoek - I am Laurens Snoek, husband of Aleida, father of four children, and author of books for teenagers, including a retelling of the Bible. After my theology studies, I worked for 20 years in secondary education: as a religion teacher and mentor at Van Lodenstein College in Hoevelaken and Amersfoort. Since 2015, I have been affiliated with the Christian University of Applied Sciences in Ede as a trainer for Religion/Life Philosophy teachers and as a Church Education teacher at the Theological University of Apeldoorn. My work always revolves around the question: how do I bring content and audience together? In other words, what do I have at my disposal as a leader to facilitate a true encounter between (young) people on one hand and the Word of God and the content of faith on the other?
