While the structure and function of school boards varies from place to place, there is no doubt that board members play a significant role in the leadership of our Christian schools. Recognizing this, ACSI Europe has invited DAVID BARTLETT, Director of Governance and Business Operations | ACSI Global, to lead a series of workshops specifically designed for Christian school leaders and board members. Director of Governance and Business Operations - ACSI Global
David has worked with hundreds of organisations across the schools and not-for-profit sectors globally in the areas of financial management, accounting systems, governance, policy development, strategic planning, business development processes, IT, capital and financial master planning, Executive mentoring, mediation and organisational management reviews.
David has co authored the book Community Governance (2 editions), authored a large number of published articles and developed international training curriculum dealing with business management and governance issues. David is a presenter conducting governance education programs and seminars across the not for profit sector. David has undertaken national and international consulting projects, is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and has several tertiary business and training qualifications. He also an experienced practitioner having held director, company secretary, CFO, chairman and public officer roles.
Global Teacher Standards
The Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) maintains global and locally relevant core standards for teacher certification that are biblically sound. These Standards support the work of Christian school associations and training providers around the world with a common language and reference point for the training of teachers.
