I have been in education leadership for nearly thirty years. For eighteen years I have served in K-12 Christian Schools which are members of ACSI. For 12 years I was Chair of the Education Department at Bryan College and since fall 2014 as Dean of the School of Education at Oakland City University. I have also served as a consultant to Christian schools in the areas of personnel acquisition, quality audits, organizational leadership, and accreditation. In the recent years, I have traveled to Europe more than a dozen times, speaking at conferences for educators, consulting with school administrators, developing international student teaching opportunities, and writing curriculum for teacher training in Hungary.
I have been married to my wife Betsy for 40 years and we have four adult children and five grandchildren. I hold a doctorate in Education Leadership from West Virginia University and undergraduate degrees in Bible and Music from Cairn University.

Leslie Johnson is a wife of 38 years who has three children, all married, and three grandchildren. Her husband, Tom Johnson, is a writer, university and seminary professor, and specialist in religious freedom issues. They have lived in Europe 22 years, 19 of which have been in Prague. As they worked in Europe, Leslie’s job was to make sure their kids received an education. Thus, she has had kids home schooled, in national schools, and Christian schools. Most recently, Leslie was one of the founders of the Christian International School of Prague and hung up her hat as director at the end of June 2015. We live in a universe crafted by the Word of God. This foundation invites us to view education not as man’s attempt to impose meaning, but as an invitation to uncover the meaning already embedded in creation—Truth, Beauty, and Goodness.
How can we as Christian school leaders address the decaying sense of identity in our students and, even sometimes, in our faculty? Is there any help from God's Word to anchor our identity to something real instead of the culture and its fractured view of human identity?
