We are happy to offer directors and administrators of Christian schools the opportunity to finally meet again for our annual seminar, face-to-face at the Porte Ouverte de Chalon sur Saône, from October 24 to 26, 2022!
Our main speakers will be Franck Meyer, President of the Evangelical Protestant Committee for Human Dignity (CPDH) and Jennifer Léa, member of the CPDH Board and specialist in issues related to human rights, and European and international public law.
The theme for this year, Christian schools: what future? , will allow us to reflect on current and future societal challenges impacting Christian education.
After the new laws drastically limiting homeschooling (summer 2021), what is the future of faith-based private schools?
And what are the agendas and societal challenges that will impact families, youth, churches and schools tomorrow?
The CPDH, through our speakers, is well placed to inform, warn, equip and encourage the leaders of private denominational schools.
Our brochure will allow you to know everything about the seminar, and also to register!
Prevented in spite of himself from being physically among us, Franck Meyer will talk to us by zooming in on social debates and their impact on Christian schools.
Jennifer Léa will be with us during the seminar and will address the following topics:
We will also have the pleasure of hearing:
Franck Meyer is a school teacher coordinator of priority education networks and former
school principal, president of the Evangelical Protestant Committee for Human Dignity (CPDH) and
member of the Animation Committee of the works center of the National Council of Evangelicals of France (CNEF).
Jennifer Grace Lea is a legal advisor to a non-governmental organization that defends religious freedom, life and family. She also advises on legal matters involving the United Nations, the European Court of Human Rights, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, the European Parliament and the institutions linked to the Council of Europe based in Strasbourg.
Having grown up in sub-Saharan Africa but also in the south of France, she spent a few years in the Christian school of Aix en Provence, then continued her studies in various fields in the United States and France. This is how she worked as a prosecutor and then as a defense attorney in the United States Department of Defense.
It was a blessing to be with educators from five vocational schools to learn from each other ways that we can serve students who are gifted with more practical skills and abilities and may struggle with the academic setting.
The IV Christ-Centered Education Forum, held in Madrid under the theme “Strong Roots and Wings to Fly,” brought together educators, Christian leaders, and entrepreneurs focused on integrating faith into education. The forum provided a space to reflect on the challenges and opportunities of Christ-centered education in the country, emphasizing the importance of collaboration among institutions.
