Student Opportunities through ACSI Europe
ACSI Europe is deeply committed to supporting students as they grow in faith, character, and service. We seek to provide meaningful opportunities that nurture students spiritually, academically, and personally—helping them serve their communities, discover their gifts, and live out their faith with purpose and confidence.
Our student programs are dynamic and continually developing to meet the changing needs of schools and students across Europe. The following four areas represent the primary pillars of student opportunities at ACSI Europe.

1. Student Leadership
ACSI Europe is passionate about helping students grow as Christ-centered leaders. One of the key ways we do this is through our flagship Student Leadership Conference (SLC) in Hungary and our new student leadership conference scheduled to be held in the UK. Each fall, high school students from ACSI member schools gather to deepen their faith, strengthen their leadership skills, and experience fellowship and worship with peers from across Europe and beyond.
The Student Leadership Conference is part of a broader leadership development pathway that includes student leadership training programs that provide guidance, mentorship, and practical opportunities for growth, as well as support from ACSI staff to help schools prepare for SLC, maximize student learning during the event, and implement meaningful action plans after returning to school.

2. Ministry & Service Opportunities
ACSI Europe encourages students to grow through cross-cultural ministry and service opportunities. These experiences help students live out their faith in practical ways while building meaningful connections with others.
ACSI European schools can partner with schools around the world through the Great Commission Project, in partnership with Joshua Expeditions. Whenever possible, we also seek to facilitate these opportunities within Europe, providing students with practical, mission-focused experiences that strengthen both their faith and their character.
Many schools also benefit from meaningful collaboration with other schools within their region and across Europe. These partnerships create opportunities for shared learning, mutual encouragement, and spiritual growth. In some cases, schools may be eligible for EU funding to support collaborative initiatives under certain conditions.
ACSI Europe encourages schools to pursue these partnerships as a way to strengthen their communities and expand their impact. Opportunities for collaboration may include:
- Student exchanges and short-term visits
- Collaborative mission trips or community service opportunities
- Joint learning projects
- Cultural exchanges or festival invitations
- High school sports or music competitions
- Summer language, arts, music, or sports camps

3. Extracurricular Programs
ACSI Europe believes that every student has unique gifts that should be encouraged and developed. Through a variety of creative and extracurricular programs, students are given opportunities to express their creativity, grow in confidence, and connect with their peers.
These opportunities include:
- Student-led projects, showcases, and performances
- Events and activities that celebrate student achievement and provide meaningful hands-on experiences
4. Spiritual Formation & Learning
ACSI Europe is committed to supporting the spiritual growth of students in meaningful and practical ways. We provide a range of programs and resources designed to help students deepen their faith and grow in character.
These might include on-site training and workshops delivered at schools or special events. Video resources focused on faith, character development, and leadership. Additional programs that support students in living out their faith in their daily lives will be planned and implemented as opportunities arise.

Course Offering - Foundations of leadership
Foundations of Christian School Leadership is an eight-week online formation course that guides school leaders from the convictions that shape a their identity through the governance, curriculum, financial accountability, and communication systems that give those convictions institutional form arriving at a final week focused on sustainable, integrative leadership rooted in the leader's ongoing formation in Christ.
In Memory of Bert Vogel
In loving memory - with deep gratitude and firm trust in his Lord and King, ACSI Europe remembers Bert Vogel, who went to be with the Lord after one year of illness on February 14, 2026.
ACSI Day of Prayer 2026
On February 24, 2026, join Christian school leaders, teachers and students around the world for a day of prayer. Resources are provided for schools to organize prayer-centered activities designed to focus our attention on God's presence and provision for His work through global Christian education.
Standing in the Gap
In January 2026, leaders from across Europe gathered in Brussels for the General Assembly of the European Association for Christian Education (EACE). With 44 participants representing 20 countries, the meeting offered a rich space for reflection, strategy, and collaboration at a time when Christian education in Europe faces both growing pressures and new opportunities.
